Unlike other methods of hair removal electrolysis can permanently remove any color hair including white, gray and blonde. No matter the texture - coarse or fine, and it works on any skin tone. It is the only FDA and AMA approved method for permanent hair removal. It is the solution for hair growth related to PCOS, menopause, hormonal changes and ingrown hairs. It works anywhere on the body, upper lip, chin, eyebrows, underarms, bikini, beards and ear hair.
How It Works
A sterile, one time use, fine probe is inserted into each hair follicle. A low level electrical current and/or chemical reaction depending on the method being used, is then applied destroying the root ensuring it will not grow again. The hair is then loosened and removed with a tweezer.
Depending on the area being worked on and if the client is well hydrated, you may feel a slight sting or heat. It is very fast, a fraction of a second to a few seconds.
How To Prepare For Your Treatment
Stop plucking, no lasering, no waxing, no sugaring for 4 to 6 weeks before. You can shave, but I will need at least a few days growth to treat the follicle Exfoliate and moisturize your skin.
Hydrate (drink lots of water) No Retinol or Glycolic acid for at least 5 days before treatment No alcohol or caffeine before treatment, it can decrease pain tolerance.
Post Treatment
You may have some redness, swelling and scabbing Do not touch, pick or scratch the area.
Keep skin clean from makeup for at least 24 hours, if you must wear makeup, use mineral makeup Do not go swimming, go in a hot tub or sauna or get excessive sun exposure for at least 24-48 hours after treatment If redness or swelling persists, after 24 or 48 hours, please call me
